Wall E (Review)

who dont know wall E, a film from walt disney animation which released june 27, 2008, this film imagine future earth which covered by garbage and earth population has been evacuated to fully automatic starlines. Wall E is a robot which have the purpose to manage or to allocation the garbage which is so many in the earth on that year. Wall E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter – Earth Class) is the only robot of his kind shown be still functioning in earth, it has three fingers to hold anything, binocular eyes and machine which make it still running. Wall E always collect his sparepart for himself, and it will replace his broken sparepart.

Everyday he works manage many garbage, collect sparepart, watching tv after working and so on. And he has couriousity to collecting trickets of interest, he stores and display these such as birdcage of rubber duck , rubik cube, zippo lighter.

Short Story

After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, WALL-E (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) discovers a new purpose in life (besides collecting knick-knacks) when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE. EVE comes to realize that WALL-E has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planet's future, and races back to space to report her findings to the humans (who have been eagerly awaiting word that it is safe to return home). Meanwhile, WALL-E chases EVE across the galaxy and sets into motion one of the most exciting and imaginative comedy adventures ever brought to the big screen. Joining WALL-E on his fantastic journey across a universe of never-before-imagined visions of the future, is a hilarious cast of characters including a pet cockroach, and a heroic team of malfunctioning misfit robots.

Human Computer Interaction

In this film explain human and computer interaction, how the robot can communicate with the human, how the robot works, and how the robot thinks with artificial intelligent embedded in robot, the robot actually help the human daily activity. There are many example of human and computer Interaction, such as how the robot accept the order from the human, The robot itself depict how sophisticated technology in the future, such as EVE which can fly and can destroy the enemy rapidly. On the other hand technology itself can destruct the human's life, make human less active such as the human with automatic chair which can move anywhere. So that the human dont need to walk anymore. There are always pro and contra with technology, depend on how we look and use the technology itself.
